Studio 34 - another day's progress

We went to IKEA today, and I got some cool lamps and rugs for Studio 34. It's making progress!!! My acoustic foam sheets should be getting here within the next couple of days.

Vending Machines

So I have seen some different vending machines lately.

I've even heard some stories OTHER types of cool vending machines.

But for now, here are 2 that I've spotted:

The iPod Vending Machine
Yes - that's right.

I saw this baby in the St. Paul Airport on my way to RubyConf 2007.

Complete with all colors of the new iPod Nanos, iPod Shuffles, Vido iPods, iPod Touch.

Man - it was sweet.


The Outdoor Vending Machine

OK - so this vending machine faces the street (4th south about 350 W) in downtown SLC. You can see where it is exactly.

You know - just in case you want to go get a snack at any hour of the day (or night).

This is brilliant - just 2 doors down, you have a building filled with young little rockers (well, some of them aren't SOOO young). Anyway - they get the munchies and stuff - and they have a place where they can smoke AND scarff down some super good treats all in the same place at the same time.

FlyLady is the BOMB!!!!

Hello all.

I'm trying to blog more, and am finding that I just need to "do it."

Ya know? - Just like basically everything in life - I just need to "do it."

Whether it's reading the scriptures with my wife IN THE MORNING, or practicing a talent (music, art, writing, etc), or blogging, or cleaning our house.

Ok - that is the point of this post. My mom recently told the cutest person on earth (that would be my wife :) ) about FlyLady. Wow - all I can say is EVERYONE should give it a go.

Yes - that's it. But you have to do it EVERY DAY!

Studio 34

So I'm pretty excited about getting back into music. I started playing in bands early in high school. Since then, I have had the privilege of playing in numerous bands including King Friday, The Given, Slapdown, LoLa, Marmalade Hill. Anyway - it has been a while since I've been involved in an original project (LoLa being the last).

But recently things have just started falling into place - and I'm SUPER excited for this next project. I'll write more about it later, but for now - it's me and Tyson Bateman. We have a space at Positively Fourth Street - Studio 34.

Well - Barb just walked in - we're going to head out on a fun little date - so I'll write more later. Here are some pics of Studio 34:

Wow - well this is going to be a really lame first post, but my super cool wife (who has been blogging for quite a while now) said that I really need one.
